Taki M Rida, MD

Family Medicine

What I find most rewarding about my work is forming lasting partnerships with my patients and helping them navigate their health journey with confidence and dignity. Whether it’s preventative care or managing chronic conditions, I value being a consistent presence in their lives and empowering them to make informed decisions that improve their quality of life.

My approach to patient care is centered on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their care. I provide the medical perspective and ensure they understand their options, and together we choose a plan that aligns with their preferences and long-term health goals.

One of the most meaningful things I hear from patients is, “You’re the first doctor who really listened to me.” Those moments stay with me. While they may not seem medically significant, they often change how patients engage with their health moving forward. They reinforce the importance of creating a safe, unhurried space where patients feel heard and empowered.

I stay up to date as an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. Maintaining board certification requires an ongoing commitment to continued learning through CME, seminars, teaching, preceptorship, conferences, and periodic board exams.

Before medical school, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Honors Biology. I then attended the Medical University of the Americas for medical school and completed my Family Medicine residency at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

At Renova Total Health, I’m most excited about the ability to provide functional health and wellness services alongside access to a multispecialty team within a concierge-level model. My goal is for Renova to be a true one-stop destination for all aspects of health and wellness.
