Zubair Khan, MD

President, Chief Medical Officer

What I find most rewarding about my work is seeing measurable transformation—not just in lab values or physical outcomes, but in how people feel about themselves and their future. When a patient regains energy after years of fatigue, improves metabolic markers that once felt overwhelming, stabilizes their mental health, or simply feels confident and in control of their health again—that shift is powerful.

Medicine isn’t just about treating disease; it’s about restoring vitality, clarity, and confidence. I also deeply value the relationships we build. In a concierge model, we have the time to truly understand our patients—their goals, stressors, lifestyle, and long-term vision—which allows us to practice proactive, personalized care rather than reactive medicine. Ultimately, what’s most rewarding is helping people move from surviving to thriving.

My philosophy is centered on personalized, proactive, and accountable medicine. Healthcare should be individualized—not rushed, not protocol-driven without context, and not limited to symptom management alone. Every patient has a unique physiology, lifestyle, and set of goals, and my role is to understand that full picture and build a strategy that aligns medical science with their long-term vision.

I focus on prevention and optimization as much as treatment—identifying risk early, using advanced diagnostics, integrating mental and physical health, and addressing root causes rather than reacting to disease progression. I also believe strongly in accessibility and continuity. When patients feel heard and have direct access to their physician, they are more engaged in their care—and that leads to better outcomes. At its core, my approach is partnership-driven, grounded in education, accountability, and trust.

One of the most memorable moments in my career was watching a patient completely transform after years of feeling unheard and dismissed. They had been dealing with fatigue, weight changes, mood shifts, and metabolic concerns, but had only received reassurance that everything was “normal.” After a deeper evaluation—looking at labs, hormones, lifestyle, and mental health—we identified several underlying issues.

Over the following months, with a structured and personalized plan, their energy returned, inflammation improved, body composition changed, and most importantly, their confidence came back. I still remember them saying, “I feel like myself again.” Moments like that reinforce why I built Renova Total Health—to move beyond treating numbers and instead restore quality of life.

I stay up to date through continuous education, including national conferences, advanced specialty trainings, and ongoing collaboration with leaders across internal medicine, metabolic health, hormone optimization, psychiatry, and regenerative medicine. Under my leadership, Renova Total Health has also become the first BTL Academic Center in the Midwest, reflecting our commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and physician education. Staying current isn’t optional—it’s essential to delivering modern, evidence-based care.

I began medical school at 16 and graduated at 21 from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. I completed my Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, where I served as Chief Resident. I then practiced hospitalist medicine with Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin before transitioning to private practice in Indiana in 2016.

Since 2018, I have pursued advanced training in aesthetic and regenerative medicine, which led to founding Renova Aesthetics in 2020. Building on that foundation, we expanded into Renova Total Health in 2025—creating a fully integrated, physician-led model focused on longevity, performance, and comprehensive care.

At Renova Total Health, I’m especially excited about our integrated approach to longevity and performance. By combining advanced diagnostics, hormone optimization, metabolic care, and regenerative therapies under one coordinated plan, we’re able to deliver truly comprehensive care.

We also incorporate technologies such as Emsculpt Neo, Emtone, Emsella, Exion, and Exomind to address body composition, pelvic health, mental wellness, and musculoskeletal optimization. What makes this unique is the level of coordination—we can evaluate labs, cardiovascular risk, hormones, and mental health within one system.

As a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, I’m most excited about bringing together evidence-based medicine and innovative therapies in a way that is both safe and results-driven, with a focus on long-term vitality.
